When
mold is discovered growing indoors, It
Must Be Stopped. Before any attempt to kill or remove mold,
the cause of the mold growth must be evaluated and corrected. In many cases, this will include repairs to the structure such
as roof, gutters and downspouts, and siding. Sometimes additional ventilation is required and is added to attics or crawl
spaces. In a few cases, occupant education is is all that's required- why it's necessary to operate a bathroom exhaust fan,
using windows for ventilation, and the big one: over-humidification via humidifiers, boiling water, and vaporizers.

Mold Treatment Methods
Our
tried and true mold treatment methods are both effective and occupant / environmentally friendly. All affected indoor semi-porous surfaces are treated with a Thyme-oil
based disinfectant. This product kills 99.999% of fungi, bacteria, and other microbial growth, while being
completely non-toxic to humans and pets. Surfaces
requiring encapsulation are coated with Fiberlock's Aftershock encapsulant- not cheap paint with a little mildewcide
added. Indoor air quality is improved
by providing PROPER ventilation and fresh air intake.
